My Top 5 Best Female Anime Characters
So, hello my dear anime-fellows!It's been one week since my last blog post but you have no, or you maybe do have, idea how it feels like to be senior. So many obligations, a lot of stuff to learn, university preps etc.
However, I made it to find some free time and after My Top 5 favorite male characters, here for you now the ladies.
You could maybe grasp the characteristics I like the most of a female character. First thing is definitely INDEPENDENCE. I hate it when a female character always waits for the guy to save her, for instance we have: Miyuki (An Irregular at Magic High School), Himiko (Btooom!) and more. Independence is the first thing I notice about a character. I really can't stand weaklings, but hey...
The next thing is, just as for the males, the CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. A character is not that interesting if it stays the same the whole show.
When it comes to the female-character types I like for no reason, there are quite some. She just has to be cute and funny. They are mostly the Tsundere-type, and let's be honest now, who doesn't like tsunderes? Now let's quit talking, and come to the TOP 5:
No.5.Akkame (Akkame ga Kill Review Link)
First thing I need to say about the 5th place is that I had to choose between Akkame and Leonel, but it became Akkame in the end.
About Akkame, she really looks like an emotionless robot, or more figting killer machine. That woman has some awesome skills. She isn't waiting for someone, she always starts on her own. There are two things that bombed Akame into the Top5:
1.Her background story or better said the relationship she had with her sister. I also have a younger sister and I knew how she felt about having to protect her sister with her life. And she did so. Second thing is the way she kept her secret move till the very end. She always fought in a brave and smart way. She was never afraid of a battle and as said, she used her special move in the very end. Awesome Akkame, and my No.5.
No.4.Victorique de Blois (Gosick Review Link)
If this is not the cutest character, than I don't know. Victorique is the Sherlock Holmes of the Anime World. Forget Detective Conan, because you will love this girl definitely more than him. She is a perfect example of a Tsundere, and I have to admit that I've always loved this type of characters. Maybe because I sometimes may act like one but never mind that. Although she isn't that independent, she acts or at least tries to be like that. But the reason for what she was chosen into the Top 5 is just her appearance. I mean, look at her. So cute, you just have to love her. And not to forget her brilliance. She is maybe the smartest character after Lelouch I have ever seen. Victorique de Blois is my No.4.
No.3.Yuno Gasai (Mirai Mikki Review Link)
I know, I know, a lot of you hate her. I know. Still, I just couldn't resist not to put her into my Top 5. If you ask why? Well, I don't know. I just love her because she is so Epic! The way she looks cute and creeps the hell out of you in the same time is awesome. You really have to have some skills to be able to design a character like this. That's I think one of the reasons for her to be in the third place (Just as Leloch being my No.1). The thing that the majority of people think is that she is a psychopath. I can't deny that, she is a psycho and a killer machine, but she is also just a girl that's mad of love. "I love him so much that I will kill him, so that nobody else does", that's her logic, or something like that. She is a A+ fighter, turning every battle into epicness, you just can't stop watching it. And one more thing. Yuno is not the type of swing your sword and kill, she is a smart fighter, finding the always the "best way" of killing.
One of the most interesting characters so far. I am ready for the haters, and so Yuno stays the No.3 in this ranking.

No.2. Yona (Akatsuki no Yona Review Link)
In my Akatsuki no Yona review, I said that boys wouldn't maybe like this princess story, but guess what? Some days ago my (male) friend texted me:"OMG thanks for recommending me A.n. Yona, it is awesome". And as the epic story, so is Yona too. Her character development is just awesome and intriguing to the maximum. She turns from a little and naive princess into a strong and independent woman and warrior. And while becoming another Yona, she still stays the same. She doesn't stop being nice, considerate and lovable. Also the way she overcame her fears and love towards Soo-Won. Just Awesome. Now in short, why I love Yona so much. She is independent, strong, caring, but yet not perfect. As said in the post before this one, I hate perfect characters. You have to give a character some flaws or a background story they want to overcome. Otherwise they are boring. Yona is one of my "Idol characters", meaning one of the characters I kinda look up to because of his or her personality. That's why, close to the first place, still staying the No.2. Yona of the Dawn.
No.1.Kallen Kouzuki (Code Geass Review Link)
I think Code Geass affected my life more than I thought it would. Lelouch is my favorite male, and what a coincidence, especially this girl becomes my favorite female. My No.1 Female Anime Character: Kouzuki Kallen. I don't know where to start when it comes to describing her character. I kinda think that I'll forget something. Let's see... First thing I want to say about her is the way she has no pardon and says straight-out what she thinks. She will always tell you the truth but in a way she doesn't hurt your feelings. Next and I think the thing that kicked her to the TOP is her patriotism. I, my-self, am a great patriot, and I would probably fight for my country just as she did for Japan. That's also why I always write her surname as Kouzuki and not Statfeld, and I'd really like MyAnimeList to do that to. The strongest and most independent female character of all. Still, one thing is for sure. Imperfection makes perfect. Although strong and independent, she is still a woman. Her character stays realistic. And as a realistic character she has feelings, too. Although being tough the whole time, she looses her heart to Lelouch and yeah...You probably know what happens than. Still, her love towards him doesn't stop her from fighting for freedom and Japan and that's my dear readers WHY Kallen is my No.1. My favorite character of all, and definitely an Idol. KALLEN KOUZUKI!
Well, if this is not a long post. With short breaks I did need a couple of hours, but everything for you! This is now my second Top 5 post, and I think there will be some more, because I don't have so much free time for watching new anime. Gangsta has just two more episodes to air, so expect a review on that one soon. Also God Eater is for now awesome, and I can recommend it to you. If you have any wishes or ideas, text me.
